Bead Soup Reveal

Today I have a special treat for you! I have been a bit scatter brained lately but that should end after today - I am at my very first fashion show! Two of my looks will be making their way down the runway - stay tuned for photos later in the week. I should actually be making suspenders right now for one of my skirts... Instead I am very excited to show you the fabulous necklace I made for my very first Blog Hop! A special welcome to 209 other people who signed up for the Bead Soup Blog Hop, hosted by the lovely Lori Anderson!

I have to admit that the beads sent to me were outside of my norm. It was really fun to take a couple of weeks to plan out what I wanted to do. Here is my final product:

This is what was sent to me as bead soup from Haley Frank, Wide Eyed Smilin (visit her blog to see what she made with the soup I sent to her!)
Haley, so many people are loving that note card!

Isn't this focal bead fabulous?

This was my first time working with chain - I am very excited to attempt more projects with it!

My favorite part has to be the bright pink accent beads.

I just love the eathy-girly feel.

If you could all please take a moment to vote for Hunky Fiance and I - we are in the running to win our Dream Wedding from Crate & Barrel!! Thanks a million!

Thank you so much for stopping by and have fun on the hop!

  22. It turned out so cute! I think it was a good idea to not do too much because you would have risked overwhelming that beautiful focal. I think the little splashes of color and the light chain work just right. Lovely piece for spring. :)
