For today's project you will need:
- 1 Old Frame
- 1 piece of cork board the size of frame
- a staple gun
- hammer
- pliers
- Optional - spray paint
- wire for hanging
The first thing you will need to do is remove the art work and the guts of the frame.
This may also include chipping off tape and paper off the back.
This is a frame that I pulled from my hometown's "Big Trash Day," (A time where you can set things out on the curb that wouldn't normally be dump worthy and other people have the chance to take things before they are hauled away...) it is a very large frame 24" x 36" - although I think this project would be handy on most any scale.

If you have a detailed frame I recommend spray paint as it goes on quick and easy, plus, it dries very fast!
Now comes the more difficult part. Fit your piece of cork board into the frame - then staple it in place. I stapled in each of the corners and 2-3 times on each side. This is also the point where you can install a wire for hanging.
When you are satisfied with how your cork board is installed within the frame, (it took me about 4 times!) then it's time to find a space to hang the frame.
So cute! I can't wait to see your improvements to your adorable little apartment...And your new microwave ;)
