A past professor and friend, Jen Magathan, is a finalist in the Urban Canvas NYC competition!

What is the Urban Canvas NYC ?
It is a design competition for artists and designer to create artwork for temporary structures at construction sites all over NYC. AKA - Hide the mess! The designs will be on all sorts of protective structures around the city including, sidewalk sheds, construction fences, scaffolding, and cocoon systems.

Jen is quite possibly one of the best professors I've had in my 5 years (gasp!) of college. She is such a great teacher and mentor who wants nothing but the best for her students. On top of that she is oober talented! How cool would it be to see her natural sky graphic beautifying construction sites in NYC?!
