Green Gown!

IT'S FINISHED!!!!!

I am now a member of the real world again - at least for a few days!
I don't know if you all remember, but I've been working on a gown made from green materials.

Upholstery fabric samples were my material of choice - For those of you who don't remember - here's my original sketch:

... and the rendered version...

And here's the real deal!!!

I had to shorten the skirt and make it bubble style due to the weight - other than that I am very happy with how it turned out! I'm really hoping that I'll get some professional images taken as well. (These are just from my phone.) Enjoy!

The front - hoping the neck line will sit better on a human model

The back - Isn't this upholstery just wild?? I couldn't help but use the deer family... :)

A side - I am loving how the skirt turned out.

The other side --- So happy to have this completed before the deadline!

What is your most recently completed project?

  4. That's super fun! You may have shortened it because of the weight, but I think it's for the best, it looks great that way.
