It has grown a lot over the years and even changed climates. This happened in about the 5th grade when we were learning about the climates of the world in science class. I pointed out to my mom that there was no possible way it was snowing in Bethlehem when Jesus was born. Pine trees weren't in that picture either... The next year we swapped the snow and pines for mossy ground and palm trees.
Fontaninnni creates a beautiful Nativity Scene - it comes in a variety of sizes and - best of all - it can't be broken. AKA - The kids can moved the pieces around without worrying about their heads breaking off. Stunning Momma did that to poor baby Jesus in her Nativity Scene growing up.
Here are some wonderful Nativity Scenes from Etsy...

What a lovely roundup! I especially love the one from ArksandAnimals!
ReplyDeleteOh my, that is a large nativity scene, and though your dad is probably correct, it's completely adorable.
