Or don't have an Etsy wedding...
Oh hey, guys! Guess who! Yes, still Kristin. I hope you guys love me as much as I love you!
Because I showed you some beautiful wedding-related items from Etsy last week, I thought I'd show you some ugly wedding-related items from Etsy this week.
Get ready.
This is the item that inspired this post. It's a garter from a shop that actually has a lot of cute stuff, but this one makes me want to throw up. There are also other brands of beer, if you'd prefer.
Next are these terrible shoe sticker things. Now, I've seen the shoe sticker thing done in a not-horrible way also, but this one just looks so bad! And the "Lucky me" on the guy's shoes reads as sarcastic to me, even though it's obviously not supposed to.
This next one just takes the cake, in my opinion. It is a black clutch with a navy blue flower. Really? Does anyone have these two colors together as their wedding colors? Because if so, I'm sorry. For them and their guests.

Have a very Etsy wedding!
Well, hello there! I'm Kristin, author of I Hate Everyone and friend of the lovely Anna. Since she's currently enjoying her fabulous honeymoon, I will be filling in for her here for TWO WEEKS. Excited? I am!
In honor of Anna's wedding (which was gorgeous, by the way, and you'll get to see pictures soon enough) and because I'm bursting with inspiration since interning at Kentucky Bride magazine this summer, I'm going to share some awesome Etsy finds for your wedding.
I've been in love with this bouquet for a little longer than is healthy. It comes from the Etsy store of AutumnArt. She makes the best bouquets and boutonnieres and I just love her.
I love a good cake stand and my boo and I plan to have a fun assortment of dessert at our future hypothetical wedding. I therefore LOVE this and all the other colorful cake and cupcake stands in afabulousfete's Etsy shop.
This adorable awesomeness comes from sERINascustomshop. I think these wooden letters would make a perfect alternative guest book! They're 24 inches tall and big enough for everyone to sign!
There you have it! Some of my favorite Etsy wedding finds!
PS- you can check out a sneak peek of Anna and Hunky's wedding on the photographer's blog!

Best Bachelorette Party Ever!
Last Saturday my friend Christie threw me the most fabulous Bachelorette Party that a girl could ask for! The destination was Grand Rapids, Michigan. 18 fabulous friends joined me for a night on the town which I'll never forget!
The "rose colored glasses" I got to wear on the drive over! Many of the lovely ladies who attend the party fought to have the honor of wearing these fabulous specs... I think it's the pink glitter...
The whole group of 18 of us who went for dinner, drinks, and dancing! The big flash cards were a gift and were an absolute hit. With phrases like "Buy me a drink?", "You're Cute.", and many more how could we not have a blast!?
Our first party crasher, for lack of a better term, arrived before we ever ordered our dinner! Sadly this kid was bailing on his buddy's Bachelor Party...
Love my little sister who was booted out before the party games started - you'll be 21 soon enough kid!
After we got bored playing our party games 8 of us decided to pile into a cab and head down the street to a dueling piano bar. This picture does not seem impressive until...
I'm pretty sure there is no way I could have smiled any more or larger during our night on the town. Thank you again a million times Christie for orchestrating such a large group of friends and family to come out and celebrate my Bachelorette-ness! The night was perfect and the stories will be told forever! Thanks to all the girls who attended, it would not have been the same without each of you there!
p.s. We're getting married in 15 days! I'm totally geeked!
p.s.s. The Country Soaps by Marlene giveaway ends at 7 pm EST - so click on the cute picture of Mocha on the right to enter!

The Final Bridal Shower
This past Sunday my Stunning Momma and sister threw me my final Bridal Shower! It was a lovely afternoon shared with family and family friends. With 1 month and 3 days to go until the wedding it was a great way to celebrate the countdown to the wedding!
Mocha and I in our party outfits! This dress is very similar to the wedding color, also I was told it's similar to one that Kate Middleton wore on her tour of the U.S.
Must decide on 2 for the actual wedding day! From left to right - new cuff from White House Black Market, Tiffany Bracelet Hunky gave me for my 19th Birthday, and Fabulous crystal bracelet made for me by Katrina, a family friend (she also made bracelets for each of the bridesmaids!)
She was very interested in what her Aunt Taylor was eating! Hot dogs, of course, I'm surprised she didn't starve at a party with only salads to eat :D
I'm super excited to use all of the lovely gifts I received in our new home in the Windy City! Also - just in case you haven't read the ticker on the side bar - the wedding is in 1 Month and 1 Day! Hooray!
Have a great day!

Polka Dots & Pleates
Every once in a while I like to take a spin around Mod Cloth. If you've never experienced Mod Cloth, it's a must! Honestly I've never made it past the dresses because it usually takes me about 2 hours to look through them all --- they have a constant turn over and great descriptions and reviews of the items. I think it might be okay to go out on a limb and say that the whole site is pretty great.
Hunky and I have a wedding coming up, other than our own, and I am on the hunt for a new dress... Here are some of the contenders, it's clear that I'm into polka dots a vermilion this season!

Now you must confess - when you went and checked out the site how long did you stay?

Save the Date Magnets - DIY Style
*For those of you who have a hard time with the fact that my fiance's name is actually not Hunky, brace yourselves. You are about to view the several mock-ups I created for our Save-The-Date magnets and I'm sad to say as much as I pleaded your case, Hunky just wouldn't go for having his oh so fabulous nickname printed on them... *
Please push play to start fabulous wedding themed background music... :D
I did a lot of research on Save The Date Magnets, and man are most of the options expensive! (Especially when you are dealing with very large families, which means a very large wedding, which means a couple hundred magnets) The companies are charging for using their design, the 2 seconds it takes to plop your photo in, for printing, and then shipping them to your door... which is all well and good, unless you're super budget conscious college students...
Bearing in mind that I am only 2 credits short of a graphic design specialization (AKA, I've taken a handful of marvelous Graphic Design Courses,) I thought I would take a stab at designing it on my own and save us a bit of money! Lucky for me, the girls of 430 Studios took some fabulous photos - which only left me to seek the perfect fonts and formatting! Here is what I came up with...
Ladies and gents, we have a winner!
This truly shows Hunky & I in our element and also incorporates Malibu Blue.

I contacted every printer that I could find in the area to see if they even printed magnets and then for price quotes. We chose to do a 3"x4" magnet that was quoted to us for $1 per magnet. They should be ready in a couple of days and we are very excited to send them out - (despite the fact that according to theknot.com we are 1 month late sending them out. Whoops.)
I found these lovely Aquamarine Paisley envelopes. My favorite part about them is that they have a sheen to them - so pretty! I think you'll spend an obscene amount of time looking through everything on Paperpresentation.com, just like I did!
