Today's To Do Thursday recipe comes to us from a great new friend and fellow blogger - Maggie author of Freedom From Fructose Intolerance & Castle Blush. Hunky Boyfriend just found out that he suffers from Fructose Intolerance, where one is unable to digest fructose which leads to problems. It is just wonderful that Maggie and I have crossed paths and today she is providing us with a fructose free recipe!

Hello All! For today's To-Do Thursday I have a fabulous project for you that's all about up-cycling!
Vintage Frame Cork Board
For today's project you will need: - 1 Old Frame - 1 piece of cork board the size of frame - a staple gun - hammer - pliers - Optional - spray paint - wire for hanging
The first thing you will need to do is remove the art work and the guts of the frame. This may also include chipping off tape and paper off the back. This is a frame that I pulled from my hometown's "Big Trash Day," (A time where you can set things out on the curb that wouldn't normally be dump worthy and other people have the chance to take things before they are hauled away...) it is a very large frame 24" x 36" - although I think this project would be handy on most any scale.
If you are unsatisfied with your frame's color now is the time to paint!
If you have a detailed frame I recommend spray paint as it goes on quick and easy, plus, it dries very fast!
Now comes the more difficult part. Fit your piece of cork board into the frame - then staple it in place. I stapled in each of the corners and 2-3 times on each side. This is also the point where you can install a wire for hanging.
When you are satisfied with how your cork board is installed within the frame, (it took me about 4 times!) then it's time to find a space to hang the frame.
Now decorate with your favorite pictures and trinkets!
Have a wonderful day!

Today's To-Do Thursday is brought to you c/o Erica of Acire Adventures! I stumbled upon Erica's Blog a while ago and suggest you take a moment to stop by too - she has an enjoyable writing style and does really neat creative things! I just love the picture she painted for her dining room!
Good morning!
I’m not sure how many people like me there are in this day and age, but let me just tell you that I cannot live without breakfast! It seems that so many people skip this meal altogether because it just isn’t important to them. You could ask my partner, Mason, if you don’t believe me on this: I must stay well fed for others’ safety. (I kind of turn into a monster when I get too hungry.) So breakfast is very important to me and it should be for you as well. :)
Personally, I like an easy breakfast that doesn’t create a huge mess, but cereal doesn’t do it for me. In fact, it only seems to make me even more hungry and scary about an hour after the meal. So here’s a one pan breakfast that can be altered to suit anyone’s appetite and tastes. Enjoy!
Veggie Pan-Scramblers
Ingredients:
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup frozen hash browns
3 tbsp chopped peppers
3 tbsp chopped mushrooms
2 tbsp diced tomatoes
dash of Club House Garlic Plus seasoning
2 eggs
grated cheese to top
Directions:
Put the oil in a frying pan and heat for a minute. Toss in hash browns and season with Garlic Plus. Cook for 2 minutes, then add peppers and mushrooms. Cook these together for about 5 minutes until veggies have softened. Crack the eggs in the pan and stir well. Continue stirring often until eggs are fully cooked. Remove from pan and top with grated cheese. Serve with toast (and maybe a little ketchup!)
This quantity will serve one person with a decent appetite. You also don’t have to measure if you prefer not to. I usually just toss in the amount of each ingredient that I think I will eat. Also, you can add or take away any of the ingredients. I’m not a big meat eater at breakfast, but you might be! Using egg whites only is a great way to reduce calories or make this meal more cholesterol-friendly as well. In the summer and fall this is an even tastier dish when you use fresh vegetables.
Yum-o! Thank you Erica for being a guest blogger today!

For my very first To-Do Thursday I would love to inspire you to make Shishkabobs!
I have been craving shishkabobs for quite a while now and the other night hunky boyfriend surprised me by having everything out and ready for us to make them on the grill!! Grilling is one of my favorite parts of summer - John love to do the grilling and I love to eat the grilling!
Here's our little station we had meat, onions, peppers, potatoes, and pineapple... Yumo-o!
They turned out beautifully - great color combos! There is no after grilling photo because frankly, I was just too hungry when they were done to take a picture...
Sadly, there are not many shishkabob items on Etsy. So I broke apart our little meal and found each item separately... Enjoy!
