Ba is a word that means "Good-Bye"

I like to think that every family has their own special lexicon. Words that only have meaning or make sense to a small group of insiders known fondly as Mom, Dad, Sis...

Today's post is brought to you by the word "Ba."

"Ba" in Stunning family speak is the shortened form of Good-Bye. Similar to "Ma" the Stunning family speak word for mother.

I guess we're just into saving time.

Matchy Matchy

What I Want Now - Giveaway Winner!

The end of my classes is near! 2 more weeks of pure chaos and all nighters and I'll be a woman seeking a design job in the Chicago area... HOORAY!

It's time's like this when I think of one thing - and one thing only.

A wonderful, soft, warm bed.

Dog Sitting & Brown Pigeon Giveaway Winner

I had every intention of ending the brownpigeon giveaway last night at 8:00 EST... BUT that didn't happen because of our little friend in the photo below.

Meet Mona.

Mona belongs to a friend of mine who went away on vacation. Another friend, Sarah, and I have been taking turns taking care of Mona for the past 11 days. I had her over the weekend and ended up taking her to my parent's house so that she could be in the company of other dogs.

She peed on my parent's new bedroom carpet 8 times.

We then stopped at Hunky's because I live in a pet free building. While we were at dinner last night she dug a hole in the carpet... Yup. Then my computer refused to boot up. Both of these things plus having my thesis due dates looming caused me to spend last night breaking out in hives and crying.

I don't think I am ready for a puppy yet.

Anyway - the brownpigeon giveaway was a HUGE success! Due to my emotional breakdown last night all 187 entries are counting.

A Sneak Peek & Gift for You!

I apologize for being MIA for the past couple of days - well actually it has been a week, but I planned ahead for most of that so you wouldn't know that my life has been pure chaos. You see for the first time in 4 years I had an overlap with HUGE projects - I'm sure if this had happened sooner I wouldn't have made it this far - I essentially feel like I've been awake since last Tuesday. It simply wouldn't have been possible for me to fit anything else in this past week!
For being good sports I have several things for you today:

There is a sneak peek posted from the photos Hunky and I had taken on Saturday morning! Get this, the day before it was 50* on our photo day it was 30* and yesterday it snowed a foot - We were terribly lucky to not have picked the blizzard day! Also - the ladies of 430 Studios were simply amazing! I am super excited for them to photograph the wedding as well!

I Won Something! Cozette Couture
